This post is a welcome commentary on David Brook's latest Op-Ed in the New York Times. Success is made. It grows from the inside out. It's the ever intangible feeling, idea, sense, desire, accolade, achievement, arrival, continuum, vision, belief, mindset, paradigm. You get it. Comparing yourself to others is no longer an option when the result is self-denigration. Your success is sourced from a brilliant vault deep inside. It's an essence you exude, it's the journey of a thousand miles. The poetic path or apocalyptic landing pad.. "Success is made not born." Do yourself a favor and read this article. This article resonated with me on a few levels. To see myself in a few of these descriptions is so fascinating to me...I believe to create yourself from a young age to be unique, but not just on the side of all of the things I could do, but what I could see. I could see ahead sort of like jumping to the next step without actually being there yet. I could feel people from far away how they were emitting energy, spirit, behavior. All of these things I was aware of but also observing how things worked and what needed to be done way before they were every asked verbally to be done. It is interesting to put these in place as an adult every day, but remain constant and constructive. It is necessary to remain calm when the energy is rampant and difficult. I believe this is all so important to move through the days effortlessly and without challenge.

Thanks for your comment Stacie. It's enlightening when a 'conventional' author shines the light on what we have experienced our whole lives- how we can now fit it in contextually. You are one who emanats that inner light. Thanks for sharing!
