What's your purpose?
Have you stopped recently to investigate who's goals you're actually striving for? Are you putting your purpose off for another day for bread and butter today? What if the truth is you're actually starving your Soul? Eventually it's going to get pissed and let you know about it. Who's goals are you striving for? Is there some family lineage informing your beliefs about who you should do or about what won't make you any money? I struggled with this for a long time. On and off I went. On the purpose wagon, off the purpose wagon, on the fit in wagon, off the fit in wagon. Experience has been the only teacher of any consequence. I've been in circumstances where my bread and butter instead of feeding me was starving me. I felt it viscerally and knew. In all situations we have the opportunity to choose fear. Fear instead of reckless obedience to your soul will always keep you under your ceiling of potential. It will always tell you what is not true. You have the choice to believe in possibility and your unlimited potential or to believe in fear. At all times fear is just a thought away- I call fear the rastieda (take down in Portuguese). In martial arts the rastieda knocks you off your feet. Fear takes you down and wins when you let go of faith. Faith requires you believe in your power and a power in the invisible. If it weren't invisible you wouldn't need faith because you'd have evidence. The true mandate of the LAW - The UNIVERSAL LAW of BEING- is to master living in faith. Master leaping into the unknown unknown. To do this properly and prepared you need only one thing, mastery of your mind. Mastering your mind first requires knowing and embodying the knowledge that your thoughts project outward and create your reality. Your world is the design of your thought- including inner hidden thoughts. Fear and worry create what you don't want. How to master your thoughts? Next post. Why master your thoughts, re read this post. How to make sure you accelerate this process? Take action right away. That's the first bit of evidence you need to reprogram your Faith mind. Taking action provides evidence. The trick is how you perceive outcomes and how willing you are to take responsibility for them. I can offer you two tips here. One is to write on a blank piece of paper 1-10. Then list 10 ways you're choosing fear over purpose, desire, or happiness. The next tip is to speak to someone who can pin point some blind spots for you. We all have them. I can help. Here's how, request a complimentary: Breakthrough Session with me where I will help you:
What do you have to lose by choosing your joy, your peace, your freedom and happiness? What if you could have the lifestyle (the real lifestyle), the financially rich career and the freedom? Do you believe you can?

No matter what you believe, when you're stressed, you've lost your power. You may believe you're on top, you're leading your team, company, firm, or life but when you're overly stressed. You've lost.
You want to win! We all want to win. Winning means different things to different people. Success means different things to different people. When you're at the end of your rope with stress, you can't enjoy the fruits of your labor. You don't have time to worship -yes worship- your physical body which really does deserve to be worshiped. You may be completely in charge in one area of your life yet completely out of wack in another. Do you really quantify success when all bases aren't covered? If so, by who's measure? Who told you success took the form you believe it takes? Challenging yourself to ask questions about what success really means to you and how well you're embodying it in ALL areas of your life means you've got to be willing to dive into a crazy honest self inquiry. What are ALL areas of your life? -Relationships -Communications -Money/Finances/Income/Profit/Growth -Physical Health & Wellness -Emotional Health & Wellness -Spiritual Health & Wellness -Mental Health & Wellness -Happiness -Security -Recognition -Legacy You've got to be willing to ask these 5 basic questions: "Was this for my parents or some secret vow I made to my lineage?" "Is my partner expecting this even though I don't want it?" "What the heck do I want?" "Where do you want to be in ALL areas of your life in 5 years?" "Are you on track?" At this stage in your life and career you deserve to master your ship. If you're not where you want to be and you're swimming in another direction, you've lost power. Step number one is not about DOING anything major. It's about deciding. You've got to decide you want your power back. What might that mean to you? Do you even know what you're power is? I'd love to hear from you in the comments below. Getting Clear If you'd like some time on the phone with me to help you answer these questions for yourself, and share some intuitive strategies based on you and your design, click the link below. There is no fee for this conversation. It's just to help you DECIDE if you want your power back and to help you figure out your next step to claiming it. (*I've opened 3 spaces on my calendar for this Clarity Conversation so act quickly)
There's a thought leader who uses a wonderful example of how the difference between success and failure -or winning and not winning - can be one split hair of a second. And often in our push for the winning edge it just means one extra skill, a small amount of time, or one tiny tweak in positioning, mindset, or attitude. The story goes that a race horse who wins the race by one split hair of a second can make the difference between zero and millions of dollars. What makes that horse win by one split hair of a second? Often we shy away from the tasks we don't like. Sales, marketing, outreach, leadership, delegation...whatever it is for you what is one task you wish you never had to do again? If you could delegate or sharpen that skill, or if you could change your mindset and start to take small tiny actions steps each day toward accomplishing the task, what would be the result? How could this change your bottom line? How could this one task or skill change your life over time? What would the compounded interest be in your growth if you committed to this one shift? Sometimes it takes a 'come to grace' moment to take full responsibility that there are things we can improve, things we can admit we're not that good at and it's affecting our growth. Once you've got that thing of yours, I encourage you to write it down. Then list 5-10 ways your life could change in 3 years if you were to improve on the skill, take action on the task, or find a qualified person and delegate. How could this effect your success? What difference would that make in 10 years if you fully committed to overcome the resistance today? So how committed to being better are you? How committed are you to YOUR greatness? If you could rate yourself by percentage what percent of your efforts are you giving to this life in your purpose work? What about taking care of your physical body? What's the story you're telling yourself about your potential? What's the story you tell yourself about money and your big dreams? Welcome to my world. I'm here to stretch you and hold you powerfully and remind you there is no limit to your potential. Comment below and let me know what success you're celebrating. How have you pushed past your edges lately? What's holding you back?
So many wonderful brilliant leaders are fed up with goals. They've come up against their edges and are ready for even deeper more powerful breakthrough yet aren't equipped with the team or advisers who are able to take them deep enough within their psyche to have the personal transition/ transformation they need. The result? Looking outside of themselves at the problems and thinking those are the reasons stopping them just short of success, or goal achievement. In reality, when given the space and opportunity to (amenably) experience a breakthrough and a holy moly ah ha...on a deep internal level.... the problems on the outside are moot. Everything shifts. Breakthroughs coupled with strategic action reprogram old beliefs and mindsets that produce evidence of potential and more importantly, possibility. The problem I see is that most people don't want to do the deep dive. I mean the deep deep dive. It reorganizes your outer world and always for the best. It's not always comfortable and it often forces transition - or be out of integrity with the new information you've gleamed about yourself. The more we know, the more responsibility to be in integrity. We know when we're out of integrity the shit hits the fan. Crisis unfolds. I was recently speaking to a colleague and she asked exactly what I do when I work with lawyers or business leaders. I answered, "Usually I'm untangling crisis." She asked, "Why would you want to invite people with crisis?" I answered, "In attorney and business world speak, crisis is the disguise for 'dark night of the soul.' If you've been there, you know a dark night of the soul, which may disguise itself as crisis, usually is calling forth a transition of some sort in our lives. It can be a totally internal shift or a total life change. It's not static. Transition is always holding space for personal and professional transformation. Many people opt for the crisis boat instead. How much more is possible for you right now? Why aren't you there? What needs to go? What needs to be seen? heard? found out? Cleared? How much more can you take responsibility for your entire life and everything happening for you? |
